AGR is based in Bangkok Thailand and has extensive experience in conducting clinical trial in Thailand as well as other countries in South East Asia. Thailand has many features which enable successful trial.

The country has 800 governmental, 300 private and 36 specialty hospitals where many projects are conducted for the international biotech/pharmaceutical industry as well as U.S. governmental institutions such as the NIH, NCI and CDC. It ranks #5 in term of number of clinical trial registered in clinicaltrials.gov in Asia.

Many of the investigators have been trained in Western countries. A large number of the patients in South East Asia are drug naive. These facts contribute to the speed with which trials can be initiated and the high quality of data collected.

The economic environment in South East Asia enable projects to have operational costs of up to forty percent less than the cost of a similar study placed in the U.S. or Western Europe.

Thai market is the largest pharmaceutical market is South East Asia with all major pharmaceutical companies and CROs have their R&D offices here including Pfizer, Merck, Bayer-Schering, Takeda,    Sanofi-Aventis, Novartis, GSK, Roche, Quintiles, PPD, Covance and Kendle.

The SMO unit of AGR has eight hospitals and over ninety clinics and specialty treatment centers. It has a patient data base of over two million patients who reside in a global environment.
