AGR has implemented ISO 9001:2008 quality system
Bangkok, Thailand (December 3rd, 2010) - Asia Global Research Co., Ltd. (AGR), a leading clinical research organization (CRO) in Asia, has implemented the quality Management system based respectively on ISO 9001:2008 standard.
ISO 9001:2008 is the latest version of the world’s widely used standard for quality management system (QMS). About one million of organizations in 154 countries have been audited and certified so far.
“The organization's entire Quality Management System (QMS) was redesigned for the implementation. Being certified to the ISO 9001:2008 quality system gives assurances to our customers and sponsors that AGR is committed to providing the highest quality services possible“, said Dr. Suthipong Treeratana, AGR’s CEO.
“This is a starting point” , added Ms. Pratchayada Iammaleerat, AGR’s Internal Quality Associates,“We were initially drawn to the ISO 9001:2008 standard because it covers not only the general aspects of conducting business but also the design of solutions - a focus of AGR. We expected to be fully certified within the first quarter of 2011 before making progress in other related quality systems”
